Made with Per4m Double Chocolate Egg White Protein Powder and loaded with almonds, they offer a satisfying mix of protein, healthy fats, and just enough sweetness to curb cravings. With a dense nougat-style base and a smooth chocolate topping, they’re ideal for post-workout refuelling, afternoon snacking, or guilt-free indulgence—without the dairy and without the bake!
Ingredients
- 200g almonds
- 110g Per4m Double Chocolate Egg White Protein Powder
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt
- 40g coconut oil
- 45ml boiling water
- 50g honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla or almond extract
For the topping:
- 40g dark chocolate, melted
- 10g almonds, chopped

Method
Line a large loaf tin with baking paper.
Place the almonds in a food processor or blender. Blend well until finely ground.
Transfer to a large bowl. Add the protein powder and salt and stir well.
Make a well in the centre of the mixture.
Mix the coconut oil and boiling water together until the coconut oil has melted. Pour the mixture into the well.
Add the honey and vanilla or almond extract. Stir well to form a dough-like consistency.
Add a drop of water if the mixture is too dry.
Transfer the mixture into the tin. Press down firmly and flatten with a spatula.
Spread the melted chocolate over the top and sprinkle over the chopped almonds.
Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm. Cut into 12 bars.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container and freeze for up to 2 weeks.
